You should already be able to build the following subset
of Mozart on Windows out-of-the-box now:

   mozart/platform
   mozart/share/{lib,tools,demo}

Note that you need the following on your Windows box:

   cygwin (latest version)
   gmp (compiled for mingw32, DIY)
   libz (compiled for mingw32, DIY)

We recommend using Windows 2000 as development environment.

For one, this means that we don't need to resort to
cross-compilation under Linux for the core anymore!
Except for the contribs, all parts so far built using
cross-compilation already work under Windows natively.

Please try it out if you have time and report any quirks
that might remain. We'll be taking care of the remaining
parts tomorrow.

Have fun,
Leif.

PS: I'd like to give credit to Thorsten too: he provided
valuable feedback for compiling the platform-dependent
    parts!
