Just because you sound so ticked off :) :

!! I again feel the urge to express my gratitude and thanks to you
personally and the whole team for making oz, writing great papers and
documentation for it, and after all releasing it to the public. !!

As an example, we have just sort-of-completed a webdav-enabled webserver
in oz (have been to the santa crus interop, testing with the big guys :)
and feel that this would have been much less fun (not to talk of
possible with our restricted programmer resources) without mozart.

The server is still intermangled with some proprietary code, but one of
these days I will pull it out and publish it in mogul, promise!

I'm also trying to express big part of applications with feature
structures, like qtk does for the gui, and even if I do not succeed, I
learn a lot along the way. I would have never tried this without the
brainstorm I got though contact with the concepts and methods of mozart
et al.

Cheers, Mathias

P.S.: Just installed macosx on an old ibook, if you ever feel you need
an account just ask. I guess the port uses xdarwin
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/xonx/ and http://www.xdarwin.org/), so
you can display everything back home. And as comment to the original
protesters mail, xonx should provide for a seamless display of X11
clients on an aqua desktop, so X applications can be macosx applications
(modulo many systems services, of course ;)
