attention: prepare for bug-fix release 1.2.2

I very much oppose a new release at this time. The little number of fixes
(actually a fixed Solaris version is on the ftp server and moreover nobody
cares about Solaris anyway) of which none is really critical (the missing
file on Windows can be downloaded) does not require a release.
Please remember: preparing a release takes work. So, I will not be available
for this too tiny step.
Leif, your opinion?
All in all: We should discuss whether to have a release before sending mails
like this. I can't quite remember that we appointed Denys to decide when to
make releases (I missed some mails though).
