when you do that, could you please cut both a branch tag, and then a
regular tag: e.g. branch tag my-branch, and regular tag my-branch-orig
identifying the files before your check-in - or something to that
effect.  Without a regular tag, it's a lot harder to do certain things
(like diffs).
