I'm afraid that does not answer my question.

As it was pointed out to me, the question unfortunately was not
formulated particularly friendly, but my intention is to figure out
who is motivated to contribute and participate in decision making.

Also, I would highly appreciate to see only relevant information in
this thread: it is not about making sure that everybody hears that
someone knows something because "I did it long time ago", or implicit
questions "why do you hibernate up north?". Please try different
communication channels.

I heard about it. But: (a) I don't have the general knowledge nor
infrastructure (nor desire, as you pointed out) to do that, and (b)
computer systems tend to break even if they are not touched, this time
we have new gcc (to the best of my knowledge, that was Kevin who
studied the issue), (c) the packages were made using "install shield
PRO" which is expensive and nobody seems to have (again,
Kevin contributed here). Hopefully nothing else.

oh, that's good to know - thanks for the info!

Now, Thorsten - can you hear me??
How do you perceive your new responsibility?
In particular, would you do the packaging?
