I don't think it has something to do with dictionaries: (a) I don't
see any in the 'unix_write' test, and (b) the dictionaries thing was
quite hard to provoke (the original bug report was about using
dictionaries in spaces), (c) I'm fairly sure I did the ./oztest thing
after I fixed them (and the devel trunk's 'cac.cc' looks identical to
the "fixes" branch). 

What about libdp/comObj.cc?

As I said, I believe the fastest ways are either to look what exactly
fails, or to locate the exact 'cvs commit' where the problem was
introduced.
