Indeed, I forgot to rebuild the base functor when I modified the 
builtin.  Sorry.

However the test suite has a strange behavior.  Running the whole test 
suite goes fine, but a subset makes the problem show up again.  Denys, 
can you try the following, please?

./oztest -v --keys=space

On my machine the test space_merge_sibling does not terminate.
