I don't think that's the conclusion to draw.  Notice that, without the Delay (or
whatever trick allows propagation to take place before FS.exclude) then we
cannot observe the bug. It may have to do with _when_ FS.monitorIn is run.

By the way, with the short example we are currently looking at, I have (so far)
not been able to observe anything wrong with getGlbMinElem (maybe these are 2
different bugs).
