"internal" was deprecated around 1999, and was replaced by "hackers". 
The "contributors" list is mentioned in MOGUL, so people might use it. 
Maybe we should fix MOGUL first...

AFAIK the corresponding newsgroup was public.  So making the archives 
public should not be problematic...
