I like this proposal. Maybe a MEP would be the way to make it official.

I do not know darcs so much but after reading something it is intended
to be a distributed revision control system. My question is, can we
get the same approach  by using subversion + svk ?. I think that a
subversion repository will be better and easier for geforge
administrators.
