I don't think we really need a MEP for this, because we are not changing 
anything from the system, but if anybody disagrees we can always discuss 
it. This is why we have this mailing list.

This was the main advantage of darcs, and this is why Torsten was 
proposing it. I use darcs myself, but I have encountered some annoying 
problems from time to time, usually with binary files that sometimes 
takes too long to be recorded. But the most difficult problems comes 
from trying to deal with conflicts. Another issue is that it gets 
confused exchanging files with macosx because of the non case-sensitive 
file system.

I searched a bit for svk and it seems a good idea. How do you combine it 
with SVN?
