Actually, my original proposal was to have something like a wiki for  
mozart projects, where "drive-by" coders could contribute easily  
without much hassle concerning registration etc. I proposed darcs,  
because there are ways for doing such a wiki-like development model  
with it.

With the subversion platform, on the other hand, people need to get  
registered first by some project admin before they can contribute. As  
a result, only few people may register.

Nevertheless, it is certainly better to have a svn-based platform for  
the shared development of mozart projects than no such project at  
all... So, if others are also interested in such a meta-project for  
the collaborative development of mozart user projects, I am happy to  
take part (and be one of the admins).
