Since I do not know what you exactly refer to by blackboard
architecture, my comments might be not exactly what you are after. The
constraint store in Oz might be regarded as a blackboard: it supports
writing to the blackboard (that is telling a constraint) and
synchronized reading from a blackboard (that is asking for the
entailment of a constraint). Since Oz supports transparent distribution
of the constraint store, also the blackboard is distributed.
