Well, from my point of view, there are still very many interesting,
important, and unanswered research questions that this vehicle can
answer, for example in fault tolerance, security, networking
technologies, graphics, tools for collaborative applications,
constraints, language design issues, and multi-agent systems.
As of now, UCL is funded to do Mozart work for two more years and
more projects are in the pipeline.  I can't speak for the UdS and
SICS future plans, but they are quite active too.

One of the reasons for the MOGUL library is to allow third parties
to contribute to Mozart; this is another way that it is supported.
