Hi Mikael
I recently built an application with Oz, where I also
needed to connect several external processes to Oz.
Out of that project I extracted a generic interface for
connecting external processes to Oz. It is much simple
to use than anything before I know off. The inteface
is now packaged in MOGUL:
http://www.mozart-oz.org/mogul/doc/niehren/external-process/index.html
It is supposed to work under Windows (and we use it there),
even though there are limitations imposed by the Mozart Open
module which I used for implementation. There is a documentation
of the package which does not yet include the limitations.
I would be pleased to devellop the package further.
I need it anyway and would like it to be useful for
others as well. I know the amount of trouble
you might run in otherwise.
Yours
Joachim
