At the moment, you have to follow the procedure above (e.g. using the
cygwin environment).  I have a preliminary version of a new tool
called `ozmake' which will completely obviate the Unix-oriented
installation procedure, but it's not ready yet.  Sorry about the
inconvenience.  Blame it on Windows, that's what I do :-) ahem.
