2> does work, but 2>&1 doesn't. This means it's possible to capture the
streams to separate files, but not to the same file. IOW this loses the
synchronization between stderr and stdout :(
Notes to Jussi:
* It would be helpful if the StdRed* programs echoed their parameters,
then we could see which options are interpreted by the shell.
* StdRedW32.exe didn't work, it required a cw3230.dll that isn't present
on my machine.
