A Conceptual Question

I was reading the perl6 wish list and couldn't help
but notice a lot of the things on the list are
already provided by the mozart virtual machine
and oz kernel language
.
In addition I noticed that you have a ML language (alice)
varient using the mozart virtual machine.

Could you give me some idea how difficult writing
a perl pickler (is that the right name?) would be?
Based on your experience with alice, that is.

Right now I am working my way through the Mozart tutorials
and am far from an expert in oz.
But so far I like it :-)
