About GUI and IDE Interface - anyone thought about REBOL?

Carl Sassenrath's REBOL might be an interesting choice for a GUI environment
for Oz. It shares many similarities with Oz, not from a language design
standpoint, but from its emphasis on distributed communications and platform
support. It has an embedded platform-independent GUI; not many languages
include that!
I was thinking that some kind of 'cooperative distributed editor and test
environment' might be really cool - edit and test on multiple machines at
once, with multiple participants, with active code sharing and other
behaviours.
REBOL is a neat language, a bit like FORTH, but also a bit like Smalltalk -
main links at http://www.rebol.com and http://www.rebol.org. Free download
of the basic environment at http://www.rebol.com/view-platforms.html.
One guy, Jim Clatfelter, built an HTML editor -
http://www.clatfelter.net/a-a-wysiwyg.r to see the code.
If this looks promising to folks here, I'd be willing to give it a go, but
progress won't be fast due to other commitments...
Regards,
Kemp

Hi Bob,
This is indeed good news. Your original idea to go with Delphi didn't
appeal much to me, but C#, Java, or wxWindows are foundations which
are viable for all of us. As suggested, Eclipse should be looked
into. I have avoided it sofar because I share your feelings about
Java :-) Finally, if you or someone else is _really_ serious about
developing bindings to wxWindows, then let's band together. That's a
library I'd really like to have, but I don't want to develop it alone;
it's just too much work.
Cheers,
