AFAIK SuSE 8.1 includes emacs binaries.

The SuSE 7.3 binaries don't work with 8.1, but you could

- grab the latest Mozart source rpm, and as root invoke
rpmbuild --rebuild mozart-1.2.5.20030212-3.src.rpm. You'll find the
  binary rpms under /usr/src/packages/RPMS/XXX/

- install mozart-1.2.5.20030212-3.XXX.rpm
          gtk-canvas-0.1-1.XXX.rpm
          mozart-gtk-1.0-1.XXX.rpm
          mozart-doc-1.2.5.20030212-3.XXX.rpm
  with rpm -Uvh <package>.

- Look at the installation instructions.

Finally succeeding, you could publish your binaries, i.e mail an url
to Denys Duchier <duchier at ps.uni-sb.de>.
