1.3 native functors on WinXP

Hi, all! Has any WinXP user out there been able to generate native
functors for Oz 1.3? The problem is that, since I moved to Oz version
1.3, I am striving to install the Select Package and compile a gump
scanner and haven't succeeded so far. 

Right from the start, my good old compilation procedure for version
1.2.5 wouldn't work anymore. Then I tried upgrading my cygwin gcc/g++,
which is now version 3.3.1. But then I started receiving undefined
reference errors...

To the fortunate ones who have succeeded, which version of gcc/g++ are
you using? Any other valuable experience to share?
