Problem: parallel search engine, Mozart 1.3.1 / Ubuntu 6.06

Hello, Everyone!

I installed Mozart 1.3.1 (20050914) under Ubuntu 6.06 LTS - Dapper Drake. 
Unfortunately, the parallel search engine does not work there. It looks 
like the problem lies on the side of the worker, because everything works 
well when the worker is ran on the other machine (with Mozart 1.3.1 
(20040617) under Windows NT 4.0 and cygwin). However, when both the worker 
and the manager reside on the same Ubuntu site the whole computations 
suspend. Below, the partial listing form System Monitor is given (I've 
rewritten it form the screen therefore it may contain typos).

The network layer, including ssh, is configured properly for sure. Do you 
have any idea how to fix this problem? It is a really important and urgent 
think to me thus I would very appreciate any piece of a good advice.
